Its titular character, Kimberly, recently moved to a new town in suburban New Jersey on the cusp of her sixteenth birthday. She is diagnosed with a rare condition that causes her to age rapidly, giving her the appearance of an elderly woman. Her dysfunctional family is keeping secrets from her to get rich quick, but these methods may result in violating the law.
