It’s a great excuse to deck the halls, bake festive treats, and plan holiday shows! Whether you’re staging a Christmas classic or simply a show that evokes all the warm and fuzzy feelings of the season, we have the resources to help your stage shine bright!

First up, the holiday classics:

Elf and Elf Jr.

Cullman High School, Cullman, AL

Based on the beloved holiday film and with music by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, Elf The Musical is a delightful reimagining of Buddy’s search for his birth father in a strange new town. From the North Pole to NYC, our Scenic Projections help productions keep up with the cinematic transitions without the expense of professional effects and numerous backdrops, all complimented by beautiful artwork that brings winter wonderment to the heartwarming storyline. This title is also available as a Jr. resource.

White Christmas

River City Theatre Company, Sacramento, CA.

After serving in World War II, veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have developed a successful song-and-dance act, but are hoping to find romance. The friends follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters headed to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a timeless score featuring well-known standards like “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” plus the classic title song, White Christmas is an uplifting story guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit.

A Christmas Carol

Grace Arts Live, Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Scenic Projections provide a gorgeous, immersive new take on the timeless Christmas ghost story from Charles Dickens. Follow the miserly money lender Ebenezer Scrooge on his journey as he is visited by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. A Christmas Carol is an ideal choice for any theatre hoping to create a heartwarming holiday tradition.

Holiday Inn

Madison Consolidated High School, Madison, IN.

From the Cat's Meow Nightclub to a farming idyll in rural Connecticut, Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn explores a year of a performer and teacher at their farmhouse-come-Inn celebrating each coming holiday in style and (super-hit) song. Through our warming and carefully-composed Scenic Projections, watch as the seasons transform the farmhouse and stage for an interactive, worry-free production.

The Nutcracker

Alhambra Theatre, Hopkinsville, KY.

All the realms and the magic of The Nutcracker is brought to life in this imaginative and festive rendering of the classic ballet. With every scene, setting, and magical moment artfully illustrated, make your seasonal ballet easier to perform than ever before.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Titusville Playhouse, Titusville, FL.

Brand new this holiday season is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! With his famous shiny nose, young reindeer Rudolph feels out-of-place in Christmastown and sets out on a daring adventure to find a place that accepts him. Along his journey, he encounters fellow misfits, only to realize that home is where he has belonged the whole time. When a storm threatens to keep Santa's sleigh from taking flight, Rudolph and his friends learn that their differences can be their superpowers. Broadway Media's Scenic Projections establish the magical world of Christmastown and bring Rudolph's journey to vivid life.

These shows certainly have us feeling sparklejollytwinklejingley, but there are a few shows produced year round that have joyous holiday moments!  For example, Annie might not be a Christmas specific show, but Oliver Warbucks did promise a new deal for Christmas! And let’s not forget how sweet Emmett from Legally Blonde was when he gave Elle a a real time saver for Christmas: shampoo and conditioner, in one!

Viken Voices Youth Choir, Norway

. . .and don’t forget! If you don’t see your show listed here, or you’re planning a holiday concert/revue, our Production Specialists are here to help! We have several digital backdrops that are perfect for the season. Contact us via the form below!
